These Terms of Service govern your use of APKSwarm.com. By accessing or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. The terms are written to be read, not to hide traps.
What APKSwarm provides
APKSwarm publishes reviews, benchmarks, configuration guides, and troubleshooting content about gaming handhelds, mobile controllers, and open-source emulation software. All content is provided for general information and education. Settings and procedures described here are starting points based on our own testing; they are not a substitute for the documentation of the hardware and software you own.
Educational use and your responsibilities
Our guides often involve changing device settings, emulator configuration, and occasionally firmware-related options. You are responsible for your own hardware and software. Before applying any guide, back up your save data and configuration where the guide recommends it, and make sure you understand how to reverse the change. Features such as overclocking, performance modes, and fan control carry inherent trade-offs in heat and battery wear that you accept by using them.
APKSwarm advocates legal emulation only. Our content assumes games are dumped from media you own or are homebrew. Nothing on this site authorises or facilitates copyright infringement, and you must not use our content for that purpose.
No warranty
Content is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Hardware and firmware vary enormously: the same chipset in two devices can behave differently because of cooling, board design, driver versions, and manufacturer software, and an emulator update can change results overnight. We take care to test what we publish, but we do not warrant that a guide will produce identical results on your device, that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any particular product will meet your expectations. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the site for any unlawful purpose, including infringing the intellectual property rights of others.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or connected networks.
- Scrape or harvest content or data at scale in a way that degrades the service for others, or misrepresent scraped content as your own.
- Submit false, abusive, or unlawful material through our contact channels.
- Impersonate APKSwarm or its contributors.
Intellectual property
The articles, benchmarks, photographs, graphics, and site design on APKSwarm are our intellectual property or are used under licence, and are protected by applicable copyright law. You may quote brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link back for commentary and discussion. Republishing full articles or substantial portions, with or without changes, is not permitted without written consent. Brand names, product names, and trademarks mentioned on this site belong to their respective owners; their appearance does not imply endorsement by or affiliation with those owners.
External links and third-party products
We link to third-party websites — manufacturers, emulator projects, retailers, forums — for identification and reader convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, or practices. Purchasing or downloading decisions you make through external links are your own; any transaction is between you and the third party.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, APKSwarm and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including device damage, data or save-file loss, or lost profits — even if advised of the possibility. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms from time to time. The effective date above will reflect the latest version, and continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If a change is material, we will note it on this page.
Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect, and the unenforceable provision will be read as narrowly as possible to make it enforceable. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and APKSwarm regarding use of the site, and they supersede any earlier oral or written understandings about that use.
Governing law and contact
